Actors’ Practical Development Workshop II
In this workshop, participants will explore, develop, and attain the self-awareness necessary to guide them through the actor’s training process. The pedagogical methods will provide to participants the tools needed to capture and maintain stage presence through an enhanced understanding of blocking techniques and the generation of new techniques that will help the creative artist to grow. The workshop is designed to be effective for actors with both extensive and minimal experience.
The purposes for theater training and acquiring tools to develop stage presence are not limited to theater. Training in theater, exploring the meanings behind the expressive and communicative arts, also creates conditions for participants to employ these tools in their daily lives. Acquiring these tools will help with personal development and improve your interactions with people in situations far beyond the theater. The workshop will also enable actors to work and interact with playwrights and directors within the same school, which will further enrich development, discovery, and the exploration of self-awareness.
